About Century Seven

A web design studio in Salem, Oregon

We're a small web design studio in Salem, Oregon — not a big agency, and not a marketplace of freelancers. Here's who we are, how we think, and why we build the way we do.

Started in the Willamette Valley

Century Seven has been building websites from right here in Salem, Oregon — close enough to most of our clients that a face-to-face meeting is never off the table, and small enough that the same person who designs your site is the one who answers when you call.

We didn't set out to be the biggest studio in the Valley. We set out to be the one businesses actually want to work with: no account managers relaying messages, no offshore handoffs, no site that quietly rots six months after launch because nobody owns it anymore.

That's still the whole model. One team, one point of contact, from the first sketch to the years of maintenance after.

How we think

What we believe

The principles that shape every project, not just the pitch.

One team, start to finish

The person who designs your site is the same person who builds it and the same person you'll talk to next year. No handoffs between departments, no account manager relaying messages.

Built to be kept up

Every project ships with documentation your team can actually use. If you ever want to leave, you can — nothing is built to trap you here.

Right-sized, not overbuilt

A car show doesn't need the same architecture as a private equity firm. We match the build to the budget and the business, not the other way around.

Craft over shortcuts

We hand-code where it matters and lean on page builders only where they genuinely help. Either way, it's reviewed line by line before it ships.

Local, and reachable

Salem-based, and easy to get on the phone with. If something breaks, you're calling a person who knows your site, not a ticket queue.

Who we build for

Our clients are mostly businesses that need a brand new website or have outgrown their current website but aren't looking for an enterprise agency: outdoor service companies, contractors, event organizers, real estate and finance firms, and nonprofits across the Valley.

Our work brings together website design, WordPress development, WooCommerce customization, and custom applications. Explore our Oregon client projects to see how the approach changes with the business.

What they tend to have in common isn't industry — it's that the work they do is better than the website representing it. That gap is what we're here to close.
